Good Karma Nishkama Karma Fruits of Karma

The field of pure spirituality states... we have to perform our karma irrespective of what others say or do! This is what nishkama karma theory of Bhagavad Gita is all about! Offering fruits of karma performed to God Almighty all the time is the crux of life. This not only keeps us happy... it also makes us progress on path of pure spirituality!

Every human being cannot indulge in nishkama karma! Those who are able to indulge in nishkama karma are truly spiritual people! If we have not received love in present life... all owes its existence to the presence of negative karma performed by us in present or previous manifestations! To undo the negative balance of previous manifestations... we must indulge in positive karma all the time.

As doctrine of karma is governing in cosmos... we cannot do without it! To get out of clutches of negative karma... we have to indulge in positive karma all the time... no matter what! Even if we do not receive love from others... we have to give love to others unconcerned with what others do to us! This is how we improve our position in the cosmic system!

You keep happy all the time because you do not indulge in negative thinking! Maintaining good feeling for others is not that easy... most human beings failed on this parameter of life! Still, trying to help others does not mean it is improving our lot!

If we meaningfully loan a person and that amount is used by the person for nefarious activities... then we become a party to the negative indulgences of the incumbent! In the present scientific world... trying to help others for the sake of it is okay but to think by our doing good to others... we shall be repaid in the same coin... it is not so!

The doctrine of karma does not work that way! Mahavira... the 24 Tirthankara of Jainism rightly said, do not preach until you become a Mahavira... a Jina... an enlightened one! But how many people world over follow this truthful principle of life... perhaps not one! Every single preacher giving discourses on TV is preaching half baked theories of religion and spirituality!

None in the present Kali Yuga has reached stage of enlightenment. Acharya Rajneesh (née Osho)... Paramhansa Yogananda (the author of... an autobiography by a Yogi)... Sri Aurobindo and even Swami Vivekananda did not gain enlightenment in their lifetime! But look at their followers... none believes that their spiritual master did not gain enlightenment!

In the present materialistic world... it is wealth and fame that rules the roost! We must always try to help our true friends... relations in need but never with the feeling of a return back! Your writing... but not getting the loan back to me only indicates that you nurtured a feeling all the time that perhaps some day the loan may be returned to you! Otherwise... you would not be writing!

The path of spirituality is always one-sided. We must always live life like a true karma Yogi... just as King Janaka (father of Sita in Ramayana) and JRD Tata lived! Both these spiritual stalwarts were karma yogis par excellence. They always indulged in karma... Nishkama karma way... never attaching self to fruits of karma performed!

JRD Tata right from inception believed in the fact that human beings are but a trustee to take care of all things that always belonged to God Almighty! In his lifetime not for once JRD Tata thought that Tata empire belonged to him or he was the owner of Tata empire. JRD Tata all his life lived as a true trustee... taking care of belongings of God Almighty in the best possible manner!

I have myself followed path of JRD Tata... King Janaka! Never have I attached myself to fruits of karma performed! Diligently performing my duties... finally one day I realized God in 1993 at 37 years of age! This is my last birth. I have reached 8.4 millionth manifestation. No further to go on spiritual path... I shall but attain salvation (moksha) the moment I leave my mortal frame!

Repeatedly go through my essays related to karma and Prarabdha karma! Also read everything related to karma yoga... karma Yogi and JRD Tata! You shall for your self realize one day that journey of life truly belonged to God Almighty... our soul atman... the spirit within and never the human form!

Whole of my life I have never tipped a beggar ever! Nor I pay donations to anyone! For indulgence in positive karma such things are not necessitated! Most NGOs in present times indulged in nefarious activities! People are after wealth and fame! In the circumstances... if we can maintain our positive attitude of life is enough... what more could we have asked of God!

 Full text of query: I know all the substance and elements are the product of pure thought process and with the help of universe, all the elements are made. I always have good feeling for others and always have helping hand for others without wishing anything from him.

I have read so much Near death experience & many other books , everybody says that we are having physical body in the Universe. In this life, I have done very good karma -like not hurting anyone, helping others, giving loans but not getting the loan back to me. What I mean whatever, I can help others in relations, friends, colleagues I did that. I also do not allow bad ideas flow in my mind. I am very stable. Please tell me know am I going on right track.
