Query: What
is a mistake? I believe what we do is already written and guided by almighty. (even this mail) Then how can
we call something to be a mistake?
Vijay Kumar:
A mistake is performing the right thing in the wrong manner! Every
mistake is following the path of negativity... following the wrong route! Mistake is following the path of
Satan and not God! Mistake is following the path of negative thinking! Truly speaking... every single mistake
stems from ignorance and negative thinking!
The presence of mistakes in the ephemeral world is but natural! If we
have day... we also have a night! If we have fire... we also have water! If we have God... we also have
Satan! Everything in the cosmic system maintains by itself! At any given moment of time the sum total of the
whole cosmos always remains zero.
If mistakes did not exist... how would one correct self! Only when we
repeatedly make mistakes... do we realize our folly! It is only through the process of mistakes and remedial
measures we proceed ahead in life! If we observe the shaping of metal we would realize that for the time the
metal is beaten and shaped... it is time for sufferings! The moment shaped rod is immersed in cold water...
we experience happiness!
Both sufferings and happiness are two sides of the same coin. Similarly
mistakes and remedial measures constitute one part of life. True... everything occurring in the cosmic system
is preprogrammed even to the most trivial detail! But does it mean... every mistake is already preprogrammed!
No... It is not like that!
The working of a human being is not controlled by God Almighty. The
special power of discrimination ordained by God Almighty makes mankind differ from other species. Mounted
with this power of discrimination... it is the individual self... the concerned human being who decides the
journey of life... differentiates wrong from right!
At any given moment of time one either indulges in positive or negative thoughts! To
exercise or not to exercise is the onus of every individual human being! God Almighty always acts as a
Dhrista (onlooker) never interfering with the creation of his! It is for human beings to choose their journey
of life... the path!
Given the same circumstances... two human beings would behave
differently! Why? It is for the simple reason that the choice of the path... the journey rests with the
individual human being and not God Almighty! As is the residual balance of karma... accordingly shall be the
act! One who suffers cannot be expected to remain happy!
The goal of every life... the goal of every human being is reaching the
last stage of manifest life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation... the last in the cosmic life cycle! Gaining
enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha) is the end crux of human life. If we are born
at Karma index of 48, it is expected of us to proceed towards Karma index of 49!
What if we continue repeating mistakes and prefer dwelling at Karma index
of 48! It is also possible our indulgence in wanton desires and greed for materialistic riches land us at
Karma index of 47 in the next manifestation! It is also quite possible based on the heinous crimes committed
in present life... we manifest the animal form in next life!
Everything in the cosmic system is governed by the doctrine of karma...
the law of karma! As we sow so shall we reap... nothing less or more! As is the karma performed so shall be
our destiny! The control of destiny lies with the individual self and not God Almighty. Dominated by a
bloated ego most human beings continue blaming God for pitfalls in life. What of the negative karma performed
by us and that too diligently!
At any given moment of time... it is the sole prerogative of the
individual human being to act! This act can be positive or negative oriented depending upon the prevailing
circumstances and our chosen goal of life! If we have a materialistic goal of life... we are bound to falter
on the spiritual path... we are bound to commit mistakes!
Alternatively if we have a spiritual goal of life... indulgence in
affairs of the ephemeral world would earn negative marks on the scales of karma! While following the
spiritual path diligently... Sage Vishwamitra on the sight of a lonely women taking bath in forlorn
circumstances in deep dense jungles lost self.
He had to again repeat the process of celibacy for another period of 12
years in continuation. He committed a mistake for which he had to repent for 12 years in a go! Acharya
Rajneesh (aka Osho) committed the mistake of mixing sex with spirituality. It was a major blunder committed.
He fell from grace to the extent that no country in the world was willing to accept him!
Finally his home country India accepted him. He had reached the end of
his life! He could have gained enlightenment in his lifetime... he bitterly failed! He made mistakes
repeatedly leaving no chance for repentance. In the field of spirituality... there is no place for sex. Only
when we follow absolute celibacy for a continuous minimum period of 12 years... does our Kundalini awaken
fully... never otherwise!
Every human being commits mistakes knowingly or unknowingly. Mistakes
committed unknowingly get pardoned... what of the mistakes committed knowingly and repeatedly!
May God bless all!
