Cycle of Birth and Death - Realize God - Reach Vaikuntha

At this stage of life you must learn to differentiate between religion and spirituality. Religion was the path that your father traveled as a Pujari (priest). You are also religious in your approach. You had nothing to do with spirituality that directly led to God Almighty. Maybe you do not qualify even for standard one in field of pure spirituality.

Let us discuss what spirituality truly is! Spirituality is the path that leads one towards our true inner self... our soul atman, the spirit within! For traveling path of spirituality indulgence in teachings contained in sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism were necessitated. In absence of jnana wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita... none world over could ever reach stage of enlightenment, no matter what! Path of religion... path of rituals never leads one to God Almighty.

It was immaterial how many times human beings when to temples, churches or mosques! It was also immaterial how many times one chanted Hare Krishna day and night. Praying to god, worshipping god lay in domain of religion... not spirituality! Most human beings in India did not know how to pray to God Almighty. God Almighty accepted our prayers only when they were directed towards welfare of masses... community, never the personal self!

You say... you want to reach stage of salvation moksha in present life! You have yet to start journey of spirituality. As ordained in sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism... every human being had a maximum of 1.1 million manifestations in human form to reach stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana in Hinduism). Reaching stage of enlightenment was not that easy. In the last about 150 years amongst 7000 million people world over only two spiritual stalwarts finally reached the end... Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana!

Every single human being who gained enlightenment in present life started young. Simple desires and wishes carried no meaning in spiritual world. Do not live under an illusion... you would never reach anywhere on spiritual path! You say you were inclined towards spirituality since childhood. You are mistaken... it was not spirituality but path of religion (path of rituals) that you traveled all the time. Seekers of spirituality never went to a temple, church or mosque in their lifetime!

Both Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana initially started their search of god via path of bhakti yoga (path of total submission) to reach god in their lifetime. But finding that god could not be reached via path of bhakti yoga alone... both finally switched to path of jnana yoga (path of absolute wisdom) in their lifetime. In my search of god, I also went to temples in the initial stages of my life. Finding that God did not exist in temples... I started path of contemplation... path of self enquiry, path of Neti (not this, not this) to reach God.

If you think organizations like ISKCON helped in reaching God... not one amongst the cult reached God in the entire history of ISKCON! Travelers of path of religion were absolutely ignorant in matters spiritual. In my 50 years of spiritual travail... I have yet to find a person who could sincerely define to me definition of God Almighty, meaning of karma, dharma, enlightenment, salvation moksha and related spiritual terminology. People talk of spirituality but feared traveling spiritual path. Why?

Spiritual path was like traveling razors edge. One could win many noble prizes but traveling spiritual path was practising excellence that was nowhere to be seen in present world! For reaching god in present life... we had to negate our karma to zero. For negating karma to zero, we had to establish absolute control over five senses and mind. Furthermore practising absolute celibacy for 12 years in continuation... human beings finally succeeded in full awakening of their kundalini shakti, the coiled Serpentine energy lying dormant in base of spine.


No sooner our kundalini energy awakened fully... Sahasra Pushpa (thousand petaled Lotus) existing in brain behind forehead opened fully. One immediately reached stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) forever. One finally became a bodhi... a Jina... a Mahavira forever!

You further say... you want to fulfill your material desires and also reach God Almighty! Path of spirituality was always unconditional. God Almighty never guaranteed material riches to those who traveled path of pure spirituality. When I started in search of God 13 years of age... I had no inkling what God Almighty, kundalini awakening or salvation moksha was all about! But, since six years of age I was a practitioner of path of absolute truthfulness. No matter what, in every single affair of life, I was always truthful! My goal of life was straight and clear... reach god in this very life! I had no time to waste in rituals or material pursuits of life.

By remaining truthful... I could hear the sweet small inner voice of our soul atman that always prompted me on right path! Most human beings world over wanted to travel spiritual path even while desiring material riches. Such people failed to realize that in domain of God almighty... material riches carried no value. Whatever transfers to next life was our balance of karma... positive or negative! At every stage of life I always tried to accumulate good karma, positive karma, Punya karma in order to negate my karma to zero!

Path of spirituality was always a one-way path! We must always tread path of spirituality with caution. Having started... chances of returning to normal routines of life were non-existent!

Stated in simpler words, to travel path of spirituality in present times one had to become a Swami Vivekananda. It is a surprising fact that even Swami Vivekananda did not gain enlightenment in his lifetime. The goal of life for Swami Vivekananda always was community service... and in that he excelled! When Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa asked Swami Vivekananda... why he had come to him, if the goal of his life was not gaining self realization... he promptly replied, just to confirm presence of God! Swami Vivekananda knew what he wanted in life and he got it.

 Full text of query: I have been born in a family inclined and interested in matters and subjects concerning spirituality and divinity very much right from childhood. Sir, I fully agree and believe that every soul has to cross the journey of 84 lakh yonis / jivas. Sir, I do not know whether this human form of mine is my last life and will i be liberated and getting emancipation and not get back into the cycle of birth and death again. Sir, I find that persons who indulge in nasties and do have major negative adjectives of quality thrive, prosper and increase their riches.

I indulge in weekly prayers by performing Sandhya followed with 108 Gayatri Chanting and other Stutis / Stotras like Vishnu Sahasranam & Lalitha Sahasranam. Sir, I am very much eager and keen to realize god and have a hard cherished desire to reach Vaikuntha ( Kingdom of God ) after my natural death. Sir, I don't want to prolong my life and want a early death within next 2 to 3 years, so that I am relieved of not returning to this Dukhalaym Asasvatham as described in Gita.

Sir at present struggling hard to survive in this material world. Sir, right from my youth I was attracted to Hare Krsna movement of ISKCON, the Bhakti cult propounded by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. While I am alone travelling or in bed or or working somewhere in Jagrat State, I keep chanting Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare. Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare. Can you can help and guide me further to fulfill my desire to reach Kingdom of God (also prepone my death) and also to fulfill my material desires for existence in this material world. Sir, I shall eagerly await your reply for my spiritual advancement and fulfillment of my desires.
