Journey of the Soul in Hinduism is a unique precept... that explains the most fundamental principle of life on mother earth! It is journey of the soul on mother earth that we exist as human beings. In absence of souls' atmans... there would be no life in cosmos! A soul is termed atman in Hinduism.

Journey of the soul atman as detailed in sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism involves a maximum of 8.4 million manifestations... an earthly life cycle of 96.4 million years! During this journey of 8.4 million manifestations... an earthly abode of 96.4 million years... every soul atman is expected to liberate self from cycle of birth and death forever.

Of itself... no soul atman can purify of its own... it needs an external medium... a body to manifest and work out its karma! The manifestation of karma by soul atman involves soul atman manifesting a chain of bodies... that starts from stage of amoeba (single cell formation)... the first manifestation in cosmic life cycle!

The manifest physical form... the form of amoeba further evolves into multi-cell formation, then insect life, plant life, animal life and finally forms of human beings! The evolution process... the manifestation of karma in cosmic life cycle of a soul atman is gradual... occurs slowly... prime reason why God Almighty ordained a long journey of 8.4 million manifestations on the whole!

As detailed in Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism... insect life, plant life, animal life and human form are intimately connected to our soul atman... the spirit within! Does this also mean that human form has evolved from insect, plant and animal life... yes, the cosmic truth is so! None can deny the efficacy of this statement made in sacred Bhagwad Gita of Hinduism!

Sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism is the foremost of all sacred scriptures existing on mother earth. Whatever is detailed in sacred Bhagvad Gita is an absolute fact of life... none can deny!

As per Bhagavad Gita the present cosmos formed when God Almighty (termed Brahman in Hinduism) exploded self with a big bang. This massive cosmic explosion resulted in all pure souls atmans scattering all over cosmos at unimaginable speeds. In the melee... the hurtling souls' atmans gathered impurities similar as a rolling ball gathers moss!

To cleanse self of dross impurities within starts cosmic life cycle of every soul atman. God Almighty... the cluster of all pure souls’ atmans exists from times immemorial. Unless God Almighty exploded self... no cosmos would form! The existence of God Almighty could never be denied at any stage of life! If we exist... so does God Almighty!

Since the occurrence of big bang it took billions of years before life supporting planets like mother earth evolved in cosmic system! No sooner life supporting planets became a reality... the hurtling souls atmans immediately manifested life on mother earth. Souls' atmans started their cosmic sojourn manifesting form of an amoeba... the ultimate goal of life always remaining, regaining original lost pure prime pristine primordial form at the earliest!

Journey of the soul in human form is the most pleasant experience for a soul atman. A soul atman manifests the human form for the first time after passing through 7.3 million manifestations in insect, plant and animal form! In the remaining 1.1 million manifestations in human form... one is expected to reach stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha)!

The moment a soul atman reached 8.4 millionth manifestation... it announced cosmic end of life when the liberated soul atman after reaching stage of salvation moksha finally entered abode of God... kingdom of God (termed Vaikuntha in Hinduism)! For a human being... travelling spiritual path and reaching end goal of life... 8.4 millionth manifestation is the ultimate purpose of life!

As per Bhagavad Gita... our soul atman is the absolute master and controller of human body and not vice versa... it is not within the capability of human body to manifest a soul atman!

The story of soul atman given in Hinduism... particularly Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism is not accepted by most religions of world. The creation of the world did not happen in seven days as stipulated in many religious scriptures! It took billions of years for cosmos to evolve to present stage.

The journey of soul atman in Hinduism can be understood from example of a student! Just as a student of class one... promotes to class two... our soul atman after death of mortal body manifested a new body based on residual balance of karma of that moment! The doctrine of karma is governing in cosmic system... as we sow so shall we reap... nothing less or more!

Law of karma acts as accountant general of cosmic system! After death of mortal body what transfers to next manifestation is the residual balance of karma... never the material riches we so dearly amassed all our life! As per Bhagavad Gita... our soul atman being the master and controller of human body... the fruits of karma performed by human beings always belonged to soul atman and never the manifest physical human form!

As per Bhagavad Gita we must always indulge in nishkama karma way of life... offering fruits of karma performed to God Almighty all the time! Living life as a true trustee... every sincere seeker of spirituality finally reached cosmic end of life... 8.4 millionth manifestation when one gained enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha)!

In the present materialistic world... abandoning desire for fruits of karma is difficult to practice... prime reason why most human beings failed to understand the gist of Bhagavad Gita! JRD Tata... popularly called Jeh... Man of steel was a Karma Yogi par excellence. All his life JRD Tata always lived life like a true trustee... offering fruits of karma performed to God Almighty all the time.

In the history of modern India... there has never been one like JRD Tata who truly worked for upliftment of mankind throughout his life. At no stage of life JRD Tata ever worked for money... prime reason why Tata empire is the most respected industrial venture of India... something beyond comprehension of most commoners... masses!
