Query:
Is practicing celibacy first step towards gaining jnana wisdom as per
bhagavad
gita? Can you let me know the importance of conserving
semen?
Vijay
Kumar: You have to understand meaning of celibacy in totality as partial understanding would
never lead you towards God! Even before starting your journey... you have doubts! How could you be expected
to travel spiritual path unless you had absolute faith in God Almighty? Spiritual journey can only be
undertaken by one who had absolute faith in God Almighty apart from willingness to follow path of absolute
truthfulness... always and ever!
Even though precepts of spirituality were
clearly detailed in Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism... most human beings world over failed to realize what Bhagavad Gita
of Hinduism was all about! It was due to the fact that we tried to assimilate teachings of Bhagavad Gita
literally... never realizing that spiritual content can only be assimilated by reading in between the lines, never
literally!
The definition of absolute celibacy is clearly detailed in various essays articles on my
different websites! Absolute celibacy was not all about abstaining from a sexual relationship alone. The physical
aspect of celibacy constituted hardly 10% of total job... 90% celibacy always being practiced mentally! Eradicating
flow of negative thoughts to our brain in totality is what absolute celibacy all about. We have to negate our karma
to zero... no matter what, if we are to ever reach God in our lifetime!
By conserving semen... by practising absolute celibacy human beings finally succeeded in full
awakening of Kundalini Shakti, the coiled serpentine energy lying dormant in base of spine! Unless we activated our
kundalini energy fully... one could never reach stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana). Full kundalini awakening
finally resulted in opening of Sahasra Pushpa (thousand petaled Lotus) existing in brain behind forehead. One
immediately became an enlightened one... a bodhi, a Jina... a Mahavira forever!
A to Z of Practicing Celibacy explained in words everyone can easily understand and
fathom. More on conserving semen - conserving semen can be found at : Steps to Celibacy... Vijay Kumar - 20 November 2012 (090414)
