Query:
Visiting a shankaracharya... does it help in purifying thought
process?
Vijay Kumar:
Do you really think a religious master can ever
disseminate pearls of wisdom of spiritual path! It is not only a misnomer... it is a fact of life that the
Shankaracharyas of the present era are only religious heads... having little or no knowledge of the spiritual
world. Adi Shankaracharya, the preceptor of the Advaita philosophy and a proponent of the doctrine of Maya
(veil of ignorance) was truly enlightened but not the present
Shankaracharyas!
One can purify the thought process in totality by
remaining truthful all throughout! Truthfulness was the biggest ingredient of spiritual path. In absence of
truthfulness, none could undertake spiritual journey in right earnestness. Purity in thoughts can only be
exercised by indulging in sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism. There was nothing more pure than sacred teachings
contained in Bhagavad Gita. Only an enlightened master can distinguish false from
truth.
If you desire invoking pure thoughts all the time... try assimilating pearls of wisdom
contained in Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism. Even after passage of 3600 years nothing contained in Bhagavad Gita diluted
with time. The teachings of Bhagavad Gita were not propriety of a particular religion, faith or creed. The wisdom
of Bhagavad Gita was applicable to entire mankind in general. Any human being world over can follow teachings
contained in Bhagavad Gita as it had universal appeal. One need not leave ones religion to learn what Bhagavad Gita
of Hinduism was all about.
